I have  learned from many successful people  how they conduct their daily life which helps them utilize their time and become very effective. They have certain  principles they  imbibe  and do certain things consistently. These usually are quite very simple things to do, but most people seldom pay attention to doing them and hence  the difference in the quality of life  people live. 

These principles are habits infused into daily living which they have consciously engaged over time. Here are the top 5 things successful people and you can also practise:


Engaging in meditation  daily is a very powerful principle  that helps you commune with yourself and God. It takes you deep into realms that everyday busy life will not afford you. If you are new to this practise, try engaging  in at least 15 minutes of alone time with yourself, where you are neither distracted  or engaged in some form of work. Just sit down and allow your brain dive deeper into the unseen realm.



Successful  people  know the importance of adding to their knowledge  bank everyday. And hence they do this consciously by reading very large and wide. To get started on this, everyday,make it a habit to learn something new and different.  It could  be by reading a book, online resources or surfing the internet  for new trends.


The ability to create something isn’t  left only to a select few. What Successful people know and do so well is to create something everyday.  Basically, they engage their brain through deep work process to create stuff. It could be writing a blog post, creating a module of an online course, writing a new song or even creating an amazing design. Successful people know that everyday is an opportunity to bless humanity with their gifting  and they do this consciously.


To walk alone is to go fast but not far. Successful people know that connecting with relationships in life is very key to success.  They  know and understand the importance of finding time to build and nurture their relationships and so they always have a shoulder to lean on when need be. This doesn’t have to be some physical meeting or something that would take so much of time and energy. Sometimes, just a phone call or whatapp  message will do.


All works and no play sure sucks the juice out of life. Daily, successful people have time to relax. They understand  their body mechanism and know when to take some rest. There are no fast and hard rules to this. But find time to sleep well, eat well  and rest well.  This calms your nerves and helps your body system to function better.
