A Word of encouragement, a Psalm of Trust

Hello there, I have been having some ruminations lately on some things and I have decided to pen them down in this post titled-  A Word of encouragement, a Psalm of Trust.

A Word of Encouragement

A lot of times, we find ourselves asking God, why me? Why do I have to wait this long, why can’t I get what I want easily. It always feels unfair to us. We have loved and served God with all our heart, we have trusted and are still trusting him. We know he is all powerful and has good intentions for us, but we just don’t know why this desire of ours is taking so long.

God, you are a good father, we know, but right now, we can’t seem to trust what we know. Our minds constantly tells us lies, pushes us beyond the boundary, we know what the truth of your Word says, but we just want this miracle

We know you to be a loving father, and so we bend our knees to you again in surrender, that at times like this, that you strengthen us, strengthen our faith, comfort our hearts and grant us strength to carry on.

For though our outward countenance seems to perish, our inward man in you is renewed by the day

A Psalm of Trust

I have decided to trust
To trust in your abilities alone my father
For even when the boat seems sinking
I know you are in there with me

I have decided to trust your abiding presence
Moments of doubts will come my way I know
For even when they do
I will choose to remember that you promised never to leave me

My trust remains in you alone my father
For sometimes I may not know what the outcome of life will be
Or even what the future may hold
But I choose to trust in you
Who knows and holds the future

Dear Friend,

If you are going through a tough time right now and it feels as if nothing is working for you, do not think that God has forgotten you.  Even if you cant see what God is doing yet, believe that he is definitely making all things work out for your good.
